Callas and Niinisto are better: The Finnish politician offered himself to Moscow as a mediator from Europe

The Finnish politician offered himself to Moscow for the role of mediator between Russia and Europe in resolving the Ukrainian conflict. Armando Mema, a member of the Alliance of Freedom party, made such a proposal on the social network X.

"I have more chances than (the head of the European diplomacy Kai) Callas to be a possible negotiator on the Ukrainian conflict. Europe refuses to choose a negotiator, mainly because it has lost its reputation and is not interested in peace with Russia. Moscow should seriously consider accepting me as a messenger of peace," Mema writes.

He added that he would like to try to build bridges between the West and East and lead them to negotiations.

One of the commentators on this noted that Mema may be better suited to the role of mediator than former Finnish President Sauli Niinisto.

"Perhaps you are even better than Niinisto, because you prefer peace, and this is very good in peace negotiations. Niinisto wants (Russian President Vladimir) Putin has lost, and even wants the war to continue if this is the only thing that leads to Putin's defeat. In the Niinist language, "mir" means "Putin has lost,"" the user wrote.
