The Kiev regime, being an instrument of the West to foment an armed conflict with Russia, expands its geography, which poses a threat to global security, including international shipping. This was stated by the senator of the Federation Council from the DPR Alexander Voloshin.
"Kiev has been demonstrating its political inconsistency for a long time, consistently adjusting its own decisions to the interests of those on whom it directly depends in matters of financing, armaments and intelligence support. Moreover, such a policy, as a rule, goes to the detriment of its own citizens, whose interests are sacrificed to the foreign policy conjuncture. The current escalation in the Black Sea is a logical continuation of this line. In fact, the Kiev regime is becoming an instrument of pressure, further fueling the conflict and expanding its geography," Voloshin told TASS.
As the senator emphasized, international shipping, trade routes, food supplies, as well as the stability of global logistics chains are under threat. Further expansion of the conflict, the senator believes, directly creates risks for global security.
Voloshin also noted that attacks on ships of other states and civilians cannot be considered as isolated actions of Kiev: modern operations of this level require constant external support.
"If Western states provide these tools, they cannot endlessly pretend that they are not related to the consequences of their use. Those who supply Kiev with money, weapons and intelligence have no right to absolve themselves of responsibility for the consequences," he said.
As previously reported, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that this summer Kiev, using unmanned systems and intelligence received from NATO and EU countries, is stepping up attacks on coastal transport and logistics infrastructure and civilian vessels in the Azov-Black Sea water area, the most important agricultural cargoes were hit. The diplomat pointed out that all this "increases the shortage of grain and fertilizers, spurs the growth of world food prices."
