The Grads of the Russian Defense Ministry are now striking with a "fire carousel"

Russian gunners working on multiple launch rocket systems "Grad" have applied a new tactic, which has received the figurative name "fire carousel". According to the Izvestia edition with reference to the military department, now the calculations are working in coordinated threes.

While one combat vehicle is firing intensely at the enemy, the second is leaving the position and heading for reloading, and the third is already occupying a new line for the next salvo.

Such cyclic movement allows you to continuously cover targets, whether they are area objects or point fortifications, while dramatically reducing the likelihood of being hit by a retaliatory counter-battery strike or attacks by enemy drones.

According to the interlocutors of the publication, the scheme has already proven itself in the SMO zone. Moreover, the actions of the Grads insure mobile firing groups that specialize in intercepting enemy drones, creating an additional protective circuit.
