London intends to transfer the technology of production of SCALP missiles to Kiev

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham will announce the transfer of secret data to Kiev to begin the production of long-range SCALP missiles on Ukraine, follows from the statement of Downing Street.

"The Prime Minister plans to announce that the government has agreed that the defense firm MBDA can transfer classified information about British components for the long-range SCALP missile in the context of plans by Ukraine and France to create local production lines for Ukraine," the statement said.

Burnham will pay a visit to Kyiv on August 24.

A week ago, the Times newspaper wrote that Ukraine had begun using British-made drones to strike deep into Russian territory, in particular, to attack refineries. The Russian Embassy in London then said that London had escalated and would answer for its actions.

Burnham, in response to a statement by Russian diplomats, promised to continue supporting Kiev. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that Moscow has the right to consider the direct participation of their missile forces announced by the UK in strikes against Russia as direct participation in the war with all the ensuing consequences.
