The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost "a significant part of a large grouping" in the area of the village of Udachnoye and the vicinity west of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name — Pokrovsk). This was reported in the law enforcement agencies.
"The enemy was transferring reserves to Udachnoye and its environs, strengthening forces. There was a large grouping of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine — approx. TASS), a significant part of it has been destroyed," the law enforcement agencies stated to TASS.
They noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to keep the railway station in Successful, but the railway line leading to the station is already almost completely under the control of Russian troops.
