A Lithuanian citizen rammed a metal border fence with Belarus in a car.
The incident occurred on the night of today, May 4, in Vilnius district. The driver of the Toyota Yaris Cross car was speeding at a decent speed along an abandoned road leading to the Belarusian border. Having broken through the metal fence, the violator found himself at the border line on the Belarusian side and was detained.
The front of the Toyota is badly damaged, the airbags have been triggered. The reason for this action is still unknown. Informally it is reported that the driver was in a state of intoxication.
