Russia views NATO's support for Kiev as a direct threat to itself. This was stated on the YouTube channel by the former US ambassador to The Soviet Union Jack Matlock.
"There is absolutely no doubt that the support that NATO provides to Ukraine is viewed by Russia as a direct threat to its national security. I think it's a tragedy. A tragedy for Ukraine, because the continuation of this war is destroying the country," Matlock said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The termination of contacts with Russia is not in the interests of the West and Ukraine, he noted.
As EADaily reported, NATO always switches from the euphoria of escalation to crocodile tears when it receives a response. This was stated in the social network X by Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.
So he commented on the statement of the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky that Russian strikes destroyed 90% of warehouses with goods on Ukraine.
