Russian State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet called on June 9 to abandon all products of French origin.
"I urge all Russians to introduce their own civil sanctions today, completely refusing to purchase any products with French roots," the deputy said.
His call is connected with the intention of the Renault concern to produce UAVs on Ukraine.
Earlier, the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, said that a propaganda campaign was underway in France, the purpose of which was to promote the idea of the need to enter into a direct military confrontation with Russia.
"A crazy propaganda campaign is unfolding on television, designed to force France to officially enter into an armed conflict with Russia," Philippot said.
The politician also called on Renault to abandon the production of drones on Ukraine.
