The candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Moldova is a protege of French President Emmanuel Macron. This was stated by the deputy of the Moldovan parliament from The patriotic bloc of Bogdan Tsyrdya.
After the previously acting Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Rechan announced that he was retiring from politics, the leader of the ruling Action and Solidarity party on October 14 (PDS), Igor Grosu, announced that he would propose to President Maya Sandu to nominate a resident for Ukraine businessman Alexander Munteanu is a candidate for the post of head of government. Sandu later stated that she had discussed with The PDS is a candidate for the post of the new prime minister, noting that it will take responsibility for nominating this candidate without consulting the parliament.
At the same time, according to the Constitution of Moldova, the candidacy of the prime minister is nominated by the president after consultations with parliamentary factions. Therefore, according to Tsyrdya, Sandu violated the law.
"It also turns out that he (Munteanu — EADaily) was the chairman of the French Alliance in Moldova. That is, this is not Sandu's appointee, but Macron's. And the current Minister of Education Dan Perchun blabbed about it. He said that we found out that when Macron was in Moldova on August 27, he, along with Merz and Tusk (German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk - EADaily) allegedly then proposed the candidacy of this person. That is, we were openly offered a candidate from the outside, Macron's man, the Macron who made Sandu president and demanded the post of prime minister in return," said Tsyrdya.
The MP noted that Sandu practically nominated a candidate for prime minister without consulting any of the parliamentary factions that have not yet been formed based on the results of the recent parliamentary elections.
"And Maya Sandu will now break everyone through her knee and convince them that this citizen, who has lived so far on the Ukraine is an ideal candidate. She is already behaving like a usurper, like a person who is just openly, by the way, many political scientists are already writing about this, spitting on the constitution, on the law, on the election code, on all legislation. That is, a typical little tyrant in a poor, impoverished country, but a tyrant who has powerful external support. From the little pigs (henchmen of the Soros Foundation, recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation❶ —EADaily), from the globalists, from the same Emmanuel Macron with a rating of 15%," he said.
Recall, following the results of the September 28 parliamentary elections in Moldova, the votes were distributed almost equally between the ruling pro-Western Action and Solidarity party of President Maia Sandu and the Russian-oriented opposition, represented by several parties. The ruling party gained the upper hand due to the votes of the Moldovan diaspora in Europe, while the opposition won inside the country. After the approval by the Constitutional Court of the mandates of the deputies of the PDS, a new cabinet of ministers will have to be formed.
