SBU agents planned to attend court hearings on the murder of the chief of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.
This was reported on Thursday, November 6, by the TASS news agency with reference to a letter received in The second Western district military Court from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
It follows from the text of the document that the purpose of attending court sessions was to collect information about the course of the trial and its further negative coverage on controlled Internet resources.
It was planned to place calls on the network to commit crimes against the composition of the court. The agents were also instructed to collect information on the scope of the circumstances established in the case for further transfer of information to the SBU for use in the preparation of new terrorist acts.
Recall that General Igor Kirillov and his assistant Major Ilya Polikarpov died on December 17, 2024 in Moscow. They became victims of a terrorist attack organized by the Ukrainian special services.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the trial of the murder of General Kirillov in Moscow will be held behind closed doors. This decision was made by the 2nd Western District Military Court.
