Military assistance to Kiev will no longer be needed — Deputy Prime Minister of Italy

With the development of a peace plan for the conflict on Ukraine will no longer need to send armed assistance to Kiev. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Italy, leader of the League party Matteo Salvini.

"I hope that there will be no need to talk about new weapons, because the conflict will stop," he said, referring to the continuation of military supplies next year.

Salvini stressed that the decision on the peace plan should be taken by the Kiev regime, not the European authorities.

"Let's leave it to Ukraine to decide, not Brussels," the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

Earlier it became known about the peace plan proposed by the United States to resolve the conflict on Ukraine. Kiev has already announced that they are not going to accept it, but together with the countries The EU will present its vision of resolving the situation. Earlier, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that he had signed, together with the Ministers of Defense and Economy, a new 12th package of military assistance to Ukraine. According to Italian media, the package will include components and ammunition for SAMP-T air defense systems.
