The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has protested to Ukraine over the strike of unmanned boats at the sea terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) near Novorossiysk.
"The incident is already the third act of aggression against an exclusively civilian facility, the functioning of which is guaranteed by the norms of international law. Kazakhstan, as a responsible participant in the global energy market, has consistently advocated maintaining the sustainability and continuity of energy supplies. We emphasize that the CPC plays a significant role in maintaining the stability of the global energy system. We consider the incident as an action that damages the bilateral relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and We expect the Ukrainian side to take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future," Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Aibek Smadiyarov said in a statement.
As the telegram channel "Two Majors" reminds in this regard, Ukraine, among other things, uses Kazakhstan to fly its drones to Russian rear facilities, and attacks peaceful naval vessels in the EEZ (exclusive economic zone) of Turkey.
"We strongly doubt that diplomatic protests against a rabid pig will be able to influence its behavior," the channel's authors say.
