Stop blows The Russian Armed Forces on the energy sector of Ukraine? An energy and oil truce?

Military correspondents are reporting today, January 29, on incoming information about the agreement reached — Russia is not hitting the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not attacking Russian oil refineries.

"Information is spreading from our familiar channels and enemy resources about the allegedly reached agreement not to hit the energy infrastructure, and Kiev will allegedly stop hitting our oil industry in return. We also received confirmation from different directions of the front," the authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" note.

Z-blogger Vladimir Romanov (Romanov Light) writes:

"There is information that a ban on fire damage has been introduced in the Russian Armed Forces since 7 a.m. today:
— for any objects in the Kiev and the Kiev region;
— for any infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine."

Whether this information corresponds to reality, we will find out by the dynamics of the strikes (their absence) in the next few days, Romanov adds.

As noted by the "two majors":

"On the one hand, of course, it sucks. The real consequences have just begun to be felt (and then clearly exaggerated by Kiev), as we actually give time for repairs and stabilization.
On the other hand, the country's leadership has taken a course to resolve/freeze the conflict and somehow this readiness must be proved in practice. Why such a course is taken is another question and not for us. There are clearly economic and other reasons."

According to military correspondents, "I am glad that the decision to suspend (and not completely stop) is temporary and while it is temporarily in effect, strikes on other facilities will continue, and the Geraniums will accumulate."

"We have already observed several times the results of goodwill gestures. We are sure that they understand this better than us at the top, which means that when this track breaks down, the Russian Army will again correct the diplomatic mistakes of people in beautiful suits,"the Two Majors conclude.

EADaily adds, in public it is reported with reference to the Ukrainian TC Supernova+ that "there is a similar order from Ukraine — not to hit the energy infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation."

According to the Financial Times newspaper, the possibility of an energy truce was to be discussed at trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24. It was about stopping attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure in exchange for Kiev's refusal to attack Russian oil facilities and tankers.

In this morning's summary, the military correspondents indicated that at night the Russian Armed Forces struck the Odessa and Vinnytsia region, Pavlograd and Kramatorsk. Ukrainian power engineers reported on the "stabilization" of the situation in Kiev: instead of emergency power outages in Kiev, there will now be scheduled schedules again.
