The preponderance in the conflict with the United States and Israel will be on the side of Iran as long as it controls the Strait of Hormuz. This was stated on the Deep Dive YouTube channel by retired lieutenant Colonel of the US Army Daniel Davis.
"The main problem at the moment remains the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz and the blocking of a significant part of the world's oil supplies passing through the Gulf of Oman to the rest of the world. And as long as the Iranian side controls this situation, it turns out to be a winner," Davis said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
After three weeks of the Iranian campaign by the United States and Israel, Washington's optimistic statements do not correspond to reality, the lieutenant colonel noted. Iran, viewed as a weaker opponent, successfully withstood all the blows, he stressed.
"They still retain the ability to continue to exist as a state. They still control the territory, and they still control this strait," Davis summed up.
As EADaily reported, it's time for the White House to start thinking about ways out of the Iranian war. This was stated in an interview with retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army Daniel Davis, professor at the University of Chicago John Mearsheimer.
