The campaign to disrupt the elections "for sausage" is gaining momentum, said Vladimir Dzhabarov, chairman of the Federation Council Commission for the protection of state sovereignty of the Russian Federation.

"Since 2026 is important for our country in connection with the Duma election campaign, the goal of Western intelligence agencies is to prevent the voting in September as much as possible. And we are already seeing some results of their efforts. After the appearance of a new Russophobic "platform" in PACE, Yulia Navalnaya❷ announced that she would conduct a campaign from Europe to denigrate the current government. And then Ilya Yashin followed her into the arena❶❷, announced the creation of a political party. Yashin❶❷ He says that he is going to challenge our president no less, as well as provide Russians with representation in European institutions of power! But in reality, all his attempts look somewhat different," the senator said.

It is clear, Dzhabarov noted, that the party in exile is a struggle for grants for Russophobia and for status in emigration against the background of the parochial success of the Russophobic "platform" in PACE.

"We are challenging Putin." And who are we? Foreign agent Ilya Yashin❶❷ and his friends-Ukrainians who go to "anti-war" rallies in Berlin, while our military are valiantly fighting at the front?" — Dzhabarov noted.

As the senator reminded, Yashin❶❷ In numerous interviews, he does not hide at all that he conducts his "anti-war" marches in order to receive grants. Of course, he is not an "oppositionist" at all, but an ordinary collaborator acting within the framework of the Western concept of inflicting strategic defeat on Russia, Dzhabarov noted.

"Well, Yashin❶❷ he has achieved his goal — he was noticed by those who want to disrupt the elections to the State Duma from abroad. He was given money for a whole political party. He is going to hold regular meetings of Russophobes, replenishing the lists of extremists who will burn bridges between themselves and the motherland for the "sausage". For Western intelligence services, such characters are valuable while they are working against Russia, after which sooner or later they are "thrown out" as waste material. As for the sources of funding, this is Yashin's❶❷ there is no shortage. Russophobia is trending in Europe right now. This is confirmed by intelligence and analytics from the security forces," the senator said.

The EU's annual report "On the situation of human rights and democracy in the world" says that the European Union is "financially involved" in supporting the radical opposition. In July, the American NED, recognized as an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation, reported that it continues to allocate "hundreds of grants" in the Russian direction. Most likely, according to Dzhabarov, it will not pass by Yashin❶❷ and the sponsor of the "anti-war committee", as well as the Ukrainian neo-Nazis, the fugitive oligarch Khodorkovsky❶.

As Dzhabarov concluded, any attempts to disrupt the elections will receive a legal assessment and the toughest possible public response.
