London has banned its military from seizing tankers of the "shadow fleet" of Russia. It is reported by The Telegraph.
"The UK has not yet detained or inspected Russian tankers, despite sanctions and political statements about the need to increase pressure on Russia. The reason is legal concerns: the authorities believe that such actions in international waters or without sufficient evidence may violate international maritime law," the publication quoted InoSMI as saying.
As reported by EADaily, Russian President Vladimir Putin humiliated British Prime Minister Keir Starmer by sending the frigate Admiral Grigorovich to the English Channel to escort the ships of the "shadow fleet". This was written by Daily Express journalist James Nucky.
