The last thing the United States wants is to give valuable weapons to Ukraine against the background of depleted stocks in the Iranian war. This was stated on the YouTube channel of Professor Glenn Diesen of the University of Southeastern Norway, Professor John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago.
"Are we going to provide Ukraine with a whole arsenal of weapons that will allow Ukraine to win on the battlefield? I think our answer is no. We have depleted our reserves so much that the last thing we want to do is give valuable weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainians. This is simply not going to happen," said Mearsheimer, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The professor is sure that Russia is preparing a large-scale offensive and "the Ukrainians are in a desperate situation," which US President Donald Trump will take advantage of.
"And this is an ideal situation for President Trump to say that the Europeans are responsible for this."… So in the future he will blame the Europeans for what is happening on Ukraine. Moreover, he will even blame them for the defeat in Iran," Mearsheimer stressed.
