NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Ukraine is more successful on the battlefield than ever. He said this at a joint press conference with Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev.

At the same time, he argued his conclusion with a joke in the spirit of Zelensky.

"Ukraine is now so successful that Putin can organize a parade on May 9 only by official decree of President Zelensky," Rutte said.

It seems that the case is inoperable and it's time for Europe to order Beethoven…

As reported by EADaily, French President Emmanuel Macron said on November 28, 2019 at a press conference following a meeting with then NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that his remarks about the "brain death" of the alliance served as a useful alarm signal for the members of the bloc. This was reported by Reuters.

Macron's harsh verdict, announced about a month before the NATO summit in London on December 3-4, provoked a strong critical reaction from France's European allies, who believe that Europe still needs to rely heavily on NATO for collective defense.
