A well-known stand-up comedian in Russia, Dmitry Romanov, who now lives in Portugal, told about his investment experience. He posted a fragment of the concert with this story on YouTube.

According to Romanov , a few years ago he was advised to open a company in Dubai in order not to pay taxes. The comedian agreed and spent about $ 8 thousand (more than 596 thousand rubles) on this procedure.

"But then it turned out that the company is being opened, but bank accounts are not being opened. When I was in Dubai again, I closed the company. It cost another $ 2 thousand," the comedian admitted.

He ended the story with a joke that, as a result, "only one dude from the Kazakhstan".

As reported by EADaily, earlier Romanov told about the hardest trials during the four years of emigration.

"It turned out that emigration means you are not leaving for a better life. You're leaving a place where it's hard for you — to a place where it's even harder for you. You just don't understand it at the moment," said the comedian.
