Units of three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were surrounded in the Pokrovsky direction — Mass media

As a result of the successful advance of the Russian military in the Pokrovsky direction, the units of at least three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were surrounded.

This was reported on Monday, August 5 by the TASS news agency, citing its own source in The Armed Forces located on the line of combat contact.

"On the eve of the weekend, Kiev, hoping to keep the defense in the Desired, transferred units of three brigades there. As a result, all of them are now sitting surrounded," the military stated.

The interlocutor of the publication noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to correct the situation on this sector of the front with the help of drones, but the enemy is not succeeding — its drones are successfully suppressed by Russian electronic warfare systems.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian troops operating in the Pokrovsky direction took the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the village of Zhelannoye in a pincer grip and occupied the center of the village of Ivanovka.
