Due to the threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones, Kazakhstan temporarily stops exporting its oil through Novorossiysk. According to Bloomberg.

Kazakhstan has temporarily stopped oil transportation to Novorossiysk due to the threat of drone attacks. According to Bloomberg, citing its sources, this break will last until the end of this week.

The agency notes that the decision is not caused by problems with the infrastructure, but is dictated solely by security measures. In the current circumstances, tankers avoid entering the loading area, which has created a logistical problem.

The marine terminal near Novorossiysk plays an important role in the export of Kazakh hydrocarbons. Since Kazakhstan has no access to the world ocean, the temporary blocking of this route may lead to a decrease in oil production in the country, Bloomberg writes.

Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Viktor Maiko rejected accusations made against Kiev of attacks on tankers with Kazakh oil, saying that these were provocations by Russia.
