The materials of the criminal case of former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev ❶❷, accused in absentia of justifying terrorism and spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, are in custody The Second Western District Military Court. The case has been assigned to Judge Roman Vladimirovu for further consideration on the merits, the court representative said. The date of the first court hearings and the format of the absentee trial of the accused will be set later.
