The British Foreign Office could not provide the Russian Ambassador to UK Andrei Kelin evidence of the involvement of the Russian military in the launch of the UAV in Poland.
"On September 15, the ambassador was invited to the Foreign Office, where he was formally protested in connection with the appearance of drones in the airspace of Poland. They asked the British if there was any evidence that the drones were launched by the Russian military. There were none. They also asked to clarify how the Foreign Office imagines the motives or reasons for sending drones towards Poland. Obviously, Russia could not be interested in this," the diplomatic mission commented.
"We once again confirm the absence from the Russian side of any interest in escalating tensions in relations with Poland or NATO. On the contrary, Kiev and its sponsors, who have repeatedly carried out provocations for this purpose, are interested in further inflating militaristic anti-Russian hysteria. So, the side whose stigma is in fluff is obvious," the embassy said.
