The whole story related to the possible supply of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine was a demonstration of the "collective impotence" of the Kiev regime and its European allies.
This opinion was expressed on the air of the Danny Haiphong YouTube channel by military analyst, retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
He pointed to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted rather cautiously to reports of a possible transfer of this type of weapons.
Based on this, Ritter suggested that the whole story of the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev is "just a smokescreen."
"Putin said that Tomahawk is an old system that Russia can shoot down. This suggests that Putin knows more than we do," the expert said.
He also stated his conviction that in fact Washington was not going to supply these missiles to Ukraine at all. And the propaganda hype around this issue was designed to increase pressure on Russia.
Ritter concluded that if Kiev and European countries place so much hope on weapons that will never be delivered, then it means "they have no hope at all."
As EADaily reported, Moscow has already made sure that the whole story of the possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev was originally Trump's usual game to raise the stakes.
And this game didn't work. So, there is no reason for the Kremlin to agree to Trump's demands to stop the armed conflict on Ukraine on the current line of combat contact.
