US President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on the withdrawal of the United States from 66 international organizations, the White House press service reported on the social network X.

31 of these organizations are UN structures, the general list is not specified in the publication. The message says that they "no longer serve American interests."

The White House said that the presidential administration made such a decision after checking all international organizations, conventions and treaties in which the country is a member or financier. Many of the structures that have become the object of attention promote "radical climate policy, global governance and ideological programs" that contradict the sovereignty and economic power of the United States, NewsMax reports.

Earlier, Trump had already signed decrees on the US withdrawal from the The World Health Organization, the Paris Climate Agreement, the UN Human Rights Council and banned the financing of the UN Relief Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

In addition, he said that by December 31, 2026, the United States will also withdraw from UNESCO.
