Cumulative losses among the military in the conflict on Ukraine reaches two million — NYT

"Almost 2 million" — the cumulative losses among the military personnel for almost four years of the conflict in Ukraine are approaching this mark. Ukraine, writes The New York Times.

In a study published on January 27 by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in In Washington, it is reported that almost 1.8 million military personnel have been killed, injured or are missing, the publication says.

According to the center's forecast, losses could reach 2 million by the spring of 2026.
