Iran has blocked the Strait of Hormuz, the movement of oil tankers has completely stopped. This is reported by the Iranian Fars news agency with reference to data from monitoring systems, 360 TV channel reports.
"Monitoring of international tracking systems reports a complete halt in the movement of tankers around the Strait of Hormuz," the publication says.
Earlier, several European countries asked vessels under their flag not to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. It is noted that now the concentration of vessels in this area is minimal.
