The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed information about another retaliatory strike on military and energy facilities in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
The corresponding statement was published on Friday, April 3, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"Tonight, in response to the terrorist attacks of Ukraine on civilian targets in Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike," the report says.
It is specified that the attack was carried out with high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The targets for the strikes were enterprises of the military-industrial complex, as well as energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine, which ensure the operation of the military-industrial complex.
The Defense Ministry stressed that the targets of the strikes had been achieved. All designated facilities were hit.
It is also reported that during the period from March 28 to April 3, 2026, six group strikes were carried out, as a result of which the fuel, transport and port infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit.
In addition, military airfields, production workshops and places of preparation for the launch of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries were attacked.
Earlier, EADaily reported that a mortar crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was captured, after which, under the leadership of the Russian military, opened fire on colleagues and destroyed their positions.
