Clear collusion against Russia: The United States is actually expanding military infrastructure in Europe

Washington trumpets the withdrawal of its military from Europe, but in fact creates conditions for their rapid transfer to the countries of the eastern flank of NATO, directed against Russia and Belarus. An example of this is the beginning of the construction of a US military logistics facility — a transshipment airfield in southwestern Poland, military correspondents write.

In the south-west of Poland, work has begun on the construction of a large US military logistics facility — a transshipment airfield (Air Port of Debarkation) on the territory of Wroclaw-Starachowice airport, the authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" draw attention.

The project provides for the construction of a railway line to the Wroclaw-Zachodni station for transshipment of goods, parking platforms, taxiways, as well as hazardous materials and ammunition transshipment zones, an arms depot. In addition, it is planned to erect a passenger terminal, temporary housing, a canteen, a laundry, a clinic, a sports center, a post office, and an administrative building. And, of course, telecommunications and an upgraded security system.

After the construction of the new runway, the airfield will be able to receive the largest American military transport aircraft - Lockheed C-5 Galaxy (wingspan of more than 67-70 m, carrying capacity of about 120 tons).

"The United States, declaring a reduction in the presence of its forces in Europe, is actually creating conditions for the possibility of a quick transfer of units to the countries of the eastern flank of NATO, which is directed against Russia and Belarus," the Two Majors note.
"It is significant that Europe also continues to pay for it. They obviously have a conspiracy there," they point out.

Full readiness of the new military logistics center in Poland is expected to receive the first cargo planes by 2035, and already in 2029 - the opportunity to receive the first cargo planes.

The construction is carried out within the framework of the Poland Provided Infrastructure program, which is financed by the Polish budget and also involves spending in the interests of Americans on:

expansion of the infrastructure of the military training ground in Dravsko-Pomorsk — new barracks (for 1,700 soldiers, replacement of tents with modular structures and capital buildings), canteen, infrastructure improvements.

The creation of a large logistics hub at the Povidzh airbase, the deployment of a system of rapidly deployable air bases (Deployable Air Base System), the construction of fuel storage facilities, helicopter parking lots, new barracks and canteen.

◾modernization of the Lask air base for reconnaissance UAVs. Construction of taxiways, hangars, communications, deployment of infrastructure protection.

The total cost of the work is more than $ 500 million. From 2022-2025, Poland has already spent hundreds of millions on housing, hangars and other infrastructure for the US military.
