Zakharova assessed the statements of Western leaders, quoting the "Heart of a Dog"

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the statements of politicians of Western countries monstrous Sharikovism.

As the diplomat noted on Sputnik radio, in the modern world, especially in politics, one can find a large number of parallels with the works of Mikhail Bulgakov.

"Just from "The "dog's heart" is some kind of monstrous sharikovism that is going on around — if you look at the statements of the heads of state of the Western world, who pose as luminaries, as enlighteners, as keepers of some kind of "science-educational fire." But in fact, this is monstrous illiteracy, multiplied by rudeness, multiplied by fanaticism and, of course, abundantly seasoned with arrogant disregard for other people," Zakharova said, quoted by TASS.
