Olga Vasilyeva, the wife of Russian actor Dmitry Nazarov, known for the role of chef from the TV series "Kitchen", wrote a letter to the State Duma asking them to forgive their family and allow them to return to Russia. According to her, she and her husband are patriots of their country, who were slandered by the opposition, writes Mash.
In the letter, Vasilyeva described her husband's career, his achievements in art, mentioned the title of People's Artist and complained about her health. They say that medicine is worse in France — not only are the doctors not as professional as the Russian ones, but also the longing for home and work aggravates the well-being. Viktor Petrovich misses the Russian stage, and in emigration he clearly understood: his place is in Russia, life beyond its borders does not even represent.
Vasilyeva also denies that their family has ever supported the Ukrainian Armed Forces or made opposition statements. She asked not to classify them among the opposition, which causes "neither trust nor sympathy." The star couple called the dismissal from the Moscow Art Theater forced — after the change of leadership, Nazarov ❶ began to "merge", as he was not afraid to argue and demonstrate independence from his superiors.
"The reason for nostalgia for the motherland is the couple's lack of money, which is why the couple has already sold an apartment of 60 m2 in Cannes for 495k euros. Concerts gather barely half of the halls, and leisure in France is now limited to writing anti—Russian poems, evenings in Ukrainian restaurants and football matches," the authors of Mash point out.
