APU hit one of the largest oil refineries of Rosneft in Ryazan — Z-bloggers

On the night of May 15, the enemy attacked the refinery in Ryazan, state the Z-bloggers of the telegram channel "Two Majors". The governor of the region Pavel Malkov said that "the wreckage of the UAV fell on the territory of one of the industrial enterprises."

At 6.54, Governor Malkov informed in his telegram channel:

"Due to the terrorist attack of the Kiev regime in Ryazan, two multi-storey residential buildings were damaged. The wreckage of the UAV also fell on the territory of one of the industrial enterprises."

According to him, three people were killed and 12 injured, including children. The damaged structures are being dismantled, Malkov added.

He also said that for security reasons, classes and lessons in schools and kindergartens of the Oktyabrsky district of Ryazan are canceled today.

"At night, the enemy attacked the Ryazan refinery, two multi—storey residential buildings were damaged during the attack," the Two Majors report in their morning report.

As they write in local publications, posting photos and videos, after the APU attack, several columns of black smoke rose over Ryazan. It is alleged that the target of the drones was the Ryazan Oil Refinery owned by Rosneft, one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, with a capacity of about 17 million tons of oil per year.

The refinery produces motor gasoline of all brands, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil, liquefied gases, bitumen and petrochemical raw materials. Previously, the plant has already been hit by the APU. In November 2025, the company stopped work after a fire.
