The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, sent an urgent letter to US President Donald Trump, in which he wrote about the shortage of missiles for air defense systems and asked to speed up deliveries. This was reported today, May 27, by the English-speaking Kyiv Independent, citing sources.

In the letter, Zelensky asks for the supply of PAC-3 missiles to Patriot systems.

"When it comes to ballistic missile defense, we rely almost exclusively on The United States. The current pace of deliveries under the PURL program no longer corresponds to the reality of the threat we face. I ask for your help in protecting Ukraine's airspace from Russian missiles," Zelensky writes.

Probably, in order for Trump not to ignore the request, Ukrainian Ambassador Olga Stefanishina handed over a copy of the letter to Congress.

As EADaily reported, on the eve of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, commenting on the warnings of the Russian Foreign Ministry about the need to evacuate diplomats from Kiev, did not condemn Moscow's threats and did not say a word about the supply of missiles to the air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Western military experts indicate that the biggest threat to Kiev will be over the next three days, especially between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m., there is a possibility that a new attack will occur this weekend (May 30-31).

If the strikes are really effective and systemic, then the spontaneous evacuation of millions of people from Kiev and other major cities. This will have an extremely severe, destructive impact on the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provoking a large-scale logistical, fuel (refugees will buy gasoline) and management crisis.
