The fugitive Belarusian oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya accused Russia of a strike by Ukrainian militants on a bus with Belarusian children in the Bryansk region. She made the corresponding message in her telegram channel.
"Russia started this war. She is the aggressor, and it is she who bears the main responsibility for every death and every injury related to this war," she wrote.
At the same time, she said that "those representatives of the state who irresponsibly sent children through the border war zone are also to blame."
"This is not an "accident", but a specific decision of specific people in power who were indifferent to how the children would get to rest. The Belarusian state propaganda is also guilty, which for years has been suppressing the truth about the war and the complicity of the Lukashenka regime in it in order to create a false picture of a "peaceful sky" and security. I urge you: take care of yourself and your loved ones. Do not risk your life — do not go to Russia, which is waging a criminal and unjust war," Tikhanovskaya wrote.
Recall, on June 17, a Ukrainian drone attacked a bus with Belarusian children traveling on vacation to Gelendzhik. As a result, the woman accompanying them died and 8 more people were injured. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry demanded an explanation from Ukraine, and Kiev called the incident an "informational provocation of the Kremlin."
