The Russian military, having liberated Piskunovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, are taking Nikolaevka in a pincer grip, which is the last outpost of the Kiev regime troops on the way to Slavyansk.

This was told to the TASS news agency on Friday, July 3, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.

"With the liberation of Piskunovka, ticks began to emerge around the settlement of Nikolaevka — the last eastern outpost of the settlement of Slavyansk," the veteran said.

He pointed out that our troops had advanced in a north-westerly direction from Rai-Alexandrovka. At the same time, we are moving from Piskunovka in a south-westerly direction.

"So now the Ukrainian group, which is in Nikolaevka, in fact, may be surrounded. If our servicemen continue to advance in these two areas, we will bypass all the fortified fortifications of the enemy and go to their rear," the expert emphasized.

Earlier, EADaily reported that taking control The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of the shores of the Seversky Donets near Slavyansk opens the way to the restoration of the critical water infrastructure of Donbass.
