The leadership of the Kiev regime, by another extension of martial law and forced mobilization, deprived Ukraine of the opportunity to be self-sufficient.

This was stated in a comment to RIA Novosti by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin. According to him, the economic situation of the 404 country is rapidly deteriorating and is approaching a critical point.

The publication reminds that on the eve of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the extension of martial law for the 20th time. The regime has been extended from August 2 for another 90 days.

"The economic situation in the remaining part of Ukraine is close to catastrophic, therefore, the extension of martial law is an attempt to preserve the "manual control" regime, which has already led to a complete loss of subjectivity," the head of the DPR stated.

He stressed that by its actions Kiev has deprived the country of the opportunity to be self-sufficient, exist without total external dependence and independently fill the budget for decades to come.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Denis Pushilin reported that Russian units from the Zapad group of forces successfully repelled a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the vicinity of Svyatogorsk.
