The commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, reported on the situation in the Kursk direction of the front today, on August 23.
"It was a tough day. The enemy tried to roll in all areas, but it didn't work out. A tank, 5 BPM, 5-6 vehicles, a cannon and a lot of infantry were destroyed," Alaudinov said.
According to the commander, the Marines distinguished themselves by taking one settlement and 10 prisoners. Not "as some people take" a settlement, Alaudinov stressed, by dropping in and taking photos, but "they really took it — they cleaned it up, took prisoners."
"The work is going well, the men are fighting heroically," he said.
Alaudinov believes that "at this rate, the enemy will not survive for a long time, because it is suffering heavy losses."
