Journalist, TV presenter and blogger Otar Kushanashvili revealed the cost of cancer treatment. In the YouTube show "For money", he said that each injection cost 10 thousand rubles.
"They gave me an injection in the stomach, a dozen injections each. The injections lasted three months. Daily. Morning and evening. Count! And then send the tax on me. I'm just a journalist, of course, the best in the world. Where could I get the money?" — the showman noted with irony.
Injections were carried out for 90 days, so the total cost was 1.8 million rubles. Kushanashvili noted that he had savings before the start of treatment. He also added that he continued to financially help his family even while fighting cancer, and also gave money to nurses.
"People need to be paid for work, any work. Considering that 99% of the work in It is humiliating for the human dignity of low-paid people in Russia. And I'm talking about Moscow. I do not know the history with Syktyvkar, I do not know the history of Nalchik. I think it's monstrous there," Kushanashvili believes.
As EADaily reported, on June 20 of this year Kushanashvili was hospitalized after 1.5−2 weeks of poor health. Later, the showman himself said that he was "struggling with oncology," at that time he had already had two operations.
Later it became known that the 54-year-old Kushanashvili will have another operation, which was scheduled for October 1. Removal of the tumor in the abdominal cavity was carried out at the Blokhin Medical Center.
The day after the operation, the showman published a post on his telegram channel with the thesis "I survived."
Two weeks later, the showman was discharged from the hospital, he said that he was saved by love, patience and discipline.
