US President Donald Trump is dissatisfied with the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky about the conflict in the region. This was announced on March 31 by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
"He expressed his dissatisfaction with the comments made by the leaders of both sides of this conflict. He expressed his opinion about what, in his opinion, should happen for this conflict to end," she told reporters.
Levitt also stressed that the American leader is "working hard" on the possibility of resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
On March 17, the White House pointed to the approach to peace on Ukraine. The American leader said earlier that day that he was going to have a conversation with Putin on March 18. According to him, at present there are "good chances" to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, Izvestia reminds.
