I have read 24 (or how many) points of the European ultimatum to Russia, which for some reason is called the "peace settlement plan". For the first time in world history, the losing side presents an ultimatum to the winners. This is the height of arrogance, but in my opinion, Russia is partly to blame for this attitude towards itself.
I'll explain why I think so. Firstly, because Russia has practically not shown itself to be a country fulfilling its promises. If you collect all the warnings, statements, "hidden signs" that officials distributed in Russia, then there will be a weighty volume. But if you collect all the actions, according to these statements, it will be something like a brochure. The West has long drawn the conclusion from this: Russia is bluffing. All his propaganda is based on this. And not only propaganda for the layman, but also propaganda that many Western officials and politicians believe.
The second thing follows from this — Russia is losing, if it has not already completely lost the information war. And do not hide behind the stupidest joke: "May 1945. Berlin, the Soviet tankman gets out of the tank, lights a cigarette and says: "But we still lost the information war!"Yes, we lost. And now we can see it with our own eyes. If they had won, there would have been no neo—Nazis - neither Ukrainian, nor Baltic, nor German, nor Polish - none. And they are. And moreover, they dictate to Russia how it should lay down its arms.
And why not? In February 2022, Russian troops were near Kiev, so what? We drove back to Donetsk. Why not? Why? They sat down at the negotiating table in the same 2022 and did not respond in any way to the disruption of negotiations by Ukraine. Why not? Why? And such why and why there will be a cart and a small cart. You can say that the command of the Armed Forces is not obliged to disclose all plans to the common people. I agree 100%. But people see the results of these plans, and many have questions.
Third. It seems to me that the command has played a game about the fact that "we fight only with soldiers and strive to avoid civilian casualties." These conversations are good for over-mature girls who still think that the "rougeau" is loaded from the muzzle. Let's start with the fact that on In Ukraine, unlike, say, the Gaza Strip, the population is being evacuated from the site of the alleged fighting. Someone stays, it's true. But it's their choice. But avoiding losses among the civilian population of a belligerent country automatically incurs an increase in losses on its part. This is an axiom. It is not for nothing that I.V. Stalin wrote: "Remember the words of the great Russian writer Maxim Gorky: if the enemy does not surrender, he is destroyed." Right now, according to the Russian General Staff, there are several thousand Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries in the boiler of the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration. Here they need to be attacked with ballistic missiles, and not knock them out one by one, losing their own soldiers.
The fourth. Overdue, and behind him and his owners all the time repeat the mantra "no talk about Ukraine without Ukraine." And to talk about Russia without Russia — isn't that arrogance? Lugansk and The Donetsk republics, as well as Crimea— are Russia, and it is irrelevant to talk about them without Russia. Although, by and large, if you can't talk about Ukraine without Ukraine, then why can't you talk about Ukraine without Germany, France, Great Britain? Then, logically, this cannot be discussed without China, India and Hungary.
Ukraine and Europe can say as much as they like that these lands are Ukraine, but, as the eastern wisdom says, if you say "halva" a thousand times, it won't get sweeter in your mouth. But why do they say? Yes, because many, and, oddly enough, even politicians in Europe, are convinced that Ukraine is winning on the battlefield, that the Russian economy has collapsed, that the people of Russia are asleep and see how to overthrow V.V. Putin. The fact that the overwhelming number of Russians support the president of Russia is being passed off by the Western media as Russian propaganda. And they believe her. They believe unconditionally. 90% of the population of Europe and the USA believes.
At the moment (and this is Monday morning), Russia has practically not commented on even Trump's plan in any way, not to mention the ugly product of stupid European politicians. Although, I assume that Russia will not comment on this nonsense. For he is a stillborn child, carried out by a half-crazed nenka-Ukraine and adopted by an elderly midwife, concurrently the head of the European Commission. Russia has taken the right position: "And Vaska is listening, yes there is."
But it will be very strange and insulting if Russia does not react in any way to the boorish trick of Ukraine and its owners. It is necessary not to be silent, but to react. And hard and short. And not limited to words.
