Composer Igor Krutoy, after giving a comment at the Song of the Year music festival, explained in an interesting way the absence of singer Anita Tsoi at the event. According to him, the actress did not pass the rules of selection of participants — she is not a legend, and she has no legendary hits. RBC informs about this today, December 9.

"Either a legend or a hit! She's not a legend, and she doesn't have a hit. And it is impossible not to take legends. Suppose, for example, this year Lev Leshchenko was with the anniversary of the "Nightingale Grove". This is justified by the "Song of the Year". He has been performing here since 1971 or 1972, he is already a kind of mascot. Maybe someone has a grudge against me, but the principles of this program will remain," said Krutoy.

The composer clarified that for a similar reason, many other singers are not invited to the "Song of the Year". For example, Jasmine or Zara.
