The Russian military is increasingly using special Egoza barbed wire in the SMO zone. The latter has great efficiency against the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Krasnaya Zvezda.

Racks for the installation of "Egoza" received robotic complexes "Courier". Thus, "Egoza" effectively blocks the approaches of the enemy and fiber-optic drones.

"When an enemy drone on an optical fiber is lowered to attack, its control wire falls on our "Egoza". One movement — and he rushes about the blades," Belyaev said.

Accordingly, after the fiber optic is broken, the drone loses contact with the operator.
