Hungarians are pleased to see how The EU recognizes the advantage of the Hungarian prime minister and is preparing for his victory. This was stated by the political director of the Hungarian Prime Minister Balazs Orban.
The politician commented on the publication by Western media that Brussels is preparing to work out measures against Viktor Orban in case he remains in power following the results of the parliamentary elections.
"According to Politico, the EU is already preparing for a world where Viktor Orban will win. It's nice to see that even in Brussels knows that Hungarians support patriotic forces and Viktor Orban, despite the flow of fake polls," Balazs Orban wrote on one of the social networks.
According to him, "for now Brussels is taking the side of Ukraine, not its own member countries," and advised "to learn how to cope with a situation where the state serves the interests of its people," referring to the text of the EU treaties.
Recall that the parliamentary elections in Hungary will be held on April 12. Orban and his supporters believe that Brussels and Kiev have conspired and intend to change power in Hungary. At the same time, at the end of March, the Politico newspaper reported, citing ten EU diplomats, that several ideas were being discussed in the community on how to prevent the work of the bloc from being destabilized by the Hungarian Prime Minister or any other "problematic leader." Among other things, they include changing the voting procedure, suspending funding and even expulsion from the EU.
