US President Donald Trump is outraged by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who called unacceptable his criticism of Pope Leo XIV. He stated this in a telephone conversation with a correspondent of the newspaper Corriere della Sera.

"She is unacceptable because she doesn't care if Iran has nuclear weapons and would have blown up Italy in two minutes if he had the opportunity," Trump replied. "She doesn't want to help with NATO and doesn't want to help get rid of nuclear weapons. She's not what I thought she was… She is no longer the same person, and Italy will never be the same country. Migration is killing Italy and the whole of Europe."

Then Trump asked the Italian journalist if the Italians liked that "Meloni does not help the Americans in any way to get oil"?

"I'm shocked by her, I thought she was brave, but I was wrong," Trump continued. "She thinks America should do the work for her."

As reported by EADaily , Donald Trump attacked criticism of Pope Leo XIV, stating that he does not need a pontiff who opposes his policies. According to Trump, "The Lion would not be in the Vatican" if he were not in The White House.
