Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, and now the head of the Eurosolidarity party, has created a special rear battalion to hide his close associates and associates from being sent to the front.

According to Ukrainian sources, we are talking about the 206th battalion of the TRO, in which almost fifty subordinates of the party leader undergo non-dusty service. Among them are former deputies, security guards, drivers and even a gardener.

At the same time, Pyotr Alekseevich did not register his sons liable for military service in this battalion. Obviously, he considered it too risky, and therefore sent them to London.

The whole story came out thanks to the public revelations of journalist Vladimir Boyko, who himself was listed in this unit.

According to him, only in the first couple of days about 40 people were registered there, including generals and well-known politicians from Poroshenko's entourage. Among them: Alexander Turchinov, Vladimir Omelyan, Vasily Burba, Vladimir Vyatrovich and others.

All these "servicemen," according to the witness, did not hold any real positions in the unit, being listed there only formally.

In return for the service provided to rescue from mobilization, Poroshenko sent part of the financial assistance from donations from Ukrainian citizens to the leadership of the battalion. In addition, the headquarters of the 206th Territorial Defense Battalion was located in the capital office of Poroshenko's European Solidarity party.

Earlier, EADaily reported that this spring it was ten years since the day when the then president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, promised to return Donbass to Ukraine by 2017.
