The head of the German Defense Ministry announced the delivery of missiles to Ukraine

Germany will allocate to Ukraine a "three—digit" number of air-to-air missiles from its own reserves, said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Earlier, he said that Berlin would allocate an additional $ 400 million for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine.

"We have supplied Ukraine with another IRIS-T system. More recently, we have also accelerated the delivery of IRIS-T guided missiles of the SLS and SLM versions. In addition, we will supply a three—digit number of air—to-air missiles from our own reserves," Pistorius said at a press conference following a meeting of the contact group on Ukraine.

According to Pistorius, Berlin also agreed to allocate $ 200 million for the purchase of PAC-3 guided missiles as part of the Jump Start program.

During his speech, Pistorius highlighted the agreement between German and Ukrainian companies on the joint production of Termite UAVs on the territory of Germany for deliveries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
