How "Russians urinated on Georgians" — the full picture of the incident in Kakheti

Russian journalist Vladimir Grigoryan analyzed on the basis of the video the incident in Kakheti, where a Georgian boxer smashed the face of a tourist who came from Russia. EADaily provides the full text of the journalist's analysis:

"I watched the third video (the first in time) from the hotel in Kakheti, which puts an end to the story that happened during the wedding. I have repeatedly asked commentators from Georgia why a hundred and fifty guests with phones and the owners of the hotel, where video surveillance is probably conducted, did not provide a single video that would confirm the guilt of the girls. There was no answer, and now I understand why.

• It was finally confirmed that there were no drunken habalok who watered the wedding with water / urine, and then began to insult the guests.
• There were no attempts to prevent the wedding. Having been misled, my dear father Alvian Tkhelidze, condemning the rapist, wrote: "a Caucasian will not like it if he is forbidden to celebrate the same wedding in the Caucasus." So, this also turned out to be an unconfirmed rumor.

In the video, a completely sober girl looks at the wedding through the window and waves to the guests in a friendly way. They shout to her that they, the girls, have spilled something. She, completely not understanding what is being said, answers in bewilderment that no, they did not pour anything. The fact that she is completely complacently waving to the guests fully confirms this.

As one of the girls later suggested, a few drops of champagne could have spilled from a bottle open on the balcony. This is her hypothesis. As it becomes clear from the video, the girls sincerely did not understand what they were accused of. The accusations did not follow immediately, but after they had gone to the room, and one of them waved her hand through the window. In response, a dirty mat is carried by the wedding guests, in particular, an offer to go for three funny letters, etc. The girl is in shock.

As can be seen in another video, there is a pretty decent distance from the balcony to the place where the wedding was played. Even if a few drops really accidentally spilled down, they could not hit anyone. This makes us look at the version from a different angle that the remote control was doused with urine, and the pissed and outraged musicians left the wedding. In the second video, the girls are also rude.

In the latest video, it is clear that Alyona Nesteryuk does not strangle the bearded young man who broke into the room, but asks what he is doing in her room, and only after the attacker pushes her hard in the chest, tries to expel her from the room without touching the neck of the imaginary victim. In response, a terrible blow to the face, after which the hero of the plot quickly disappears, fleeing from the scene.

This is almost a complete picture of what happened. Everything that the Georgian bloggers wrote about the whores who attacked the wedding turned out to be a lie, without a single, most sluggish hint of the truth. There are innocent Ukrainian women, currently with Russian citizenship, who loved Georgia and came there many times to meet. And a few men who lost their human appearance and made a scandal out of the blue.

I have been accused several times that my previous post is a kind of hype, an attack against Georgia, including on Putin's instructions. No, I love this country, where my ancestors lived for about a hundred years after fleeing from the village of Tsakhik near Erzerum under Emperor Nikolai Pavlovich. Following my father, I have a very warm attitude towards the Georgian people and have always defended them from xenophobic accusations. My two posts are just a reaction to the endless stream of dirty insults of girls and slander against them.

And it was Georgian bloggers who inflated this scandal to monstrous proportions, rushing to the defense of the scoundrels. If the girls did not have Russian citizenship, but continued to be citizens of Ukraine, etc., I would have reacted the same way. If it had been an Armenian wedding, not a Georgian one, I would have apologized, saying the same thing about the bastard who broke Alyona Nesteryuk's nose. All that is required from the Georgian side in order for the scandal to stop is simply to apologize for everything that happened, admitting that it was misled. To push through lies about the girls' unworthy behavior did not work and will not work anymore. Lying further is stupid, pointless. To get out of this situation, nobility and self-respect are required. I hope that in Georgia has enough people who are not alien to these qualities."

The incident with the girl who had her face smashed in Georgia, due to the fact that she spoke Russian, once again stirred up a wave of Russophobia in Georgia. Social networks are filled with comments from Georgian social media users glorifying the Georgian boxer who broke the girl's nose and cursing the Russians. An action was held in Georgia in support of the "man" who hit the girl, and the hotel where the incident occurred expressed its readiness to pay a deposit for him, and also stated that it does not serve customers who speak the language of the "occupier".

The court decided to release on bail of 5 thousand lari for the period of investigation of the detainee in the case of a scandal at a wedding in the Georgian city of Telavi. According to the prosecution, Georgy Chigladze arbitrarily went up to the room where the tourists, citizens of Russia and Turkey, lived and beat one of them. Prosecutor Beka Natelauri said that the accused first hit the victim in the shoulder, and then in the face, as a result of which she received a fracture of the nasal bone and a concussion.

The victim of the physical altercation is a native of Ukraine, 30-year-old Alyona Nesteryuk, a citizen of Russia and Turkey, a doctor by profession, currently living in Turkey.

A criminal case has been opened against Georgy Chigladze under Article 120 of the Criminal Code — intentional infliction of minor harm to health. The maximum penalty under this article is up to three years in prison.

The defense claims that the incident was caused by provocative actions and offensive statements of foreign tourists.

Chigladze himself said in court that he regretted what had happened.

"I regret the crime I committed, my goal was not to end it that way," Chigladze said.

Earlier, he issued a statement in which he warns from his experience that "any unintended action committed during a conflict can be costly."

"I ask you and urge all of you: do not succumb to provocations and do not act guided by fleeting excitement in response to an insult."
