Singer, People's Artist of Russia Valery Leontiev spent about 30 million rubles to insure his mansion in Miami. This is reported by the Shot telegram channel.
The luxury house of the 77-year-old performer in Miami was at risk of flooding. According to forecasts, in the next 15 years the mansion on the island may be threatened by flooding, so the singer issued several policies at once.
The annual amount that Leontiev spends on insurance is about $ 100 thousand (approximately 7.8 million rubles): $ 40 thousand — general home insurance; $ 21 thousand — hurricane insurance; $ 35 thousand — flood insurance; $ 4 thousand — civil liability policy.
"Payments will last at least until 2030. At the same time, even the state flood insurance program in the USA covers a maximum of $ 250 thousand for the house itself and up to $ 100 thousand for property — the rest of the owners of luxury real estate have to insure separately, " the publication says.
It is noted that since 2014, the artist has made large investments in real estate — carried out repairs, installed solar panels on the roof of the building, and also completely replaced the roof.
As reported by EADaily, it was previously reported that if the conditions of the rider are not met, Leontiev may demand about 2 million rubles in penalties from the concert organizers.
