The question of Western peacekeepers on Ukraine is taking shape, but the parties are still in the process of dialogue. This was stated in an interview with the Associated Press by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

According to Zelensky, Paris' proposal to send European troops to Ukraine as a deterrent is taking shape. He, however, "expressed skepticism," stating that many questions remain regarding the structure of command and control, the size of the contingent and its positions. This issue was raised at a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and Donald Trump, Zelensky said.

"I said in the presence of the two leaders that we are interested in this as part of the security guarantee, but not as the only security guarantee. This is not enough. Imagine there is a contingent. The question is, who is in charge? Who's in charge? What will they do if there are Russian strikes? Missiles, landing, attack from the sea, crossing the land border, offensive. What will they do? What are their mandates?" — Zelensky asked questions.

When asked if he asked them directly to Macron, the head of the Kiev regime replied that "we are still in the process of this dialogue."

As reported by EADaily, the leaders of a number of European countries continue to entertain the idea of sending a "peacekeeping" military contingent to Ukraine, however, does not want to do it alone and put its soldiers at risk.

Realizing the vulnerability of the "peacekeepers", which Russia will rightly consider to be occupiers, Europe appealed to the United States to provide support to its expeditionary forces.
