US President Donald Trump expressed hope that a peace agreement to end the Ukrainian conflict is approaching. He stated this on NBS News.
According to him, "we have a very good chance of doing this."
At the same time, Trump stressed that the United States is now closer to the world by Ukraine from one of the sides, without specifying which one.
"I really think we are closer to this (world on Ukraine) on one side and, perhaps, not so close on the other. I would not like to say who exactly we are closer to," the American leader said.
He added that "we are talking about colossal hatred between these two people," apparently referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"Well, the time will come when I will say, 'Okay, keep it up, keep acting stupid,'" Trump added.
